Chicstab 770
Product Description
CAS NO. 52829-07-9
Chicstab 770 is a highly efficient hindered amine light stabilizer with low toxicity, providing significant anti-photooxidative aging properties (sun protection). When used in conjunction with antioxidants, it enhances heat resistance, particularly beneficial for PP and HDPE. Its atmospheric aging performance surpasses that of ordinary UV absorbers and quenchers (such as nickel-chromium compounds), making it ideal for plastics requiring excellent light stability. In Japan, Canada, the United States, and other countries, this product is approved for use in polyolefin plastics intended for food contact.
The effectiveness of Chicstab770 is unaffected by the thickness of plastic products, and it is commonly used in flat tapes and films. When combined with antioxidants, it further improves heat resistance and exhibits synergistic effects with ultraviolet light absorbers to enhance light stabilization.
