Product Description

Chicstab AY183 is a liquid blend with moderate viscosity. This product does not contain amine antioxidants and is suitable for polyurethane products with high requirements for thermal and photo-oxidation, such as adhesives, shoe foams, bra foams, cosmetic foams, etc. It can provide excellent color stability for polyurethane foam sponge after high-temperature hot pressing, delay yellowing of polyurethane foam, and improve product weather resistance.  It has good compatibility with substrates and is resistant to extraction.

Chicstab AY183 does not contain BHT or nonylphenol , which meets environmental requirements.

This product is a liquid antioxidant with excellent compatibility with substrates, offering high-temperature oxidation resistance, weather resistance, ease of dispersion, and pumpability.

When utilized in bra and shoe foam applications, it delivers below results:

• Phenol Yellowing: Achieves a grade of 4 to 4.5.
• Smoke Resistance: Scores between 3 to 3.5.
• UVA Resistance: Attains a grade of 3.5 to 4 over 24 hours.
• UVB Resistance: Ranges from 3.0 to 3.5 over 6 hours.

 Guideline for use

• The recommended usage of PU foam is between 0.5% to 6.0% (base on polyether content ). Recommended addition of polyurethane prepolymer is 0.1% to 1.0%, which can be adjusted based on application requirements. If not used completely at once, please seal promptly and store properly.
• When applied to adhesives, therecommended dosage  is 4500PPM. Specific dosages should be added according to customer requirements.

Shelf life

12 months from the date of production under unopened original packaging.

 Storage

 Stored in dark, dry, and cool conditions, tightly sealed. Prolonged exposure to air  may cause the product to spoil.
