Il pr\u00e9sente une excellente compatibilit\u00e9 avec les polym\u00e8res, une r\u00e9sistance \u00e9lev\u00e9e \u00e0 la chaleur et \u00e0 l\u2019oxyg\u00e8ne, une faible volatilit\u00e9 et des capacit\u00e9s sup\u00e9rieures de r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 l\u2019oxydation et de r\u00e9tention de couleur. Lorsqu'il est combin\u00e9 avec des antioxydants contenant du thio\u00e9ther ou du phosphore, il pr\u00e9sente un effet synergique significatif.
