Chicstab1130 is a benzotriazole UV absorber which is widely utilized in the coating industry, compatible with both organic and water-soluble coatings. Its easy emulsification makes it particularly suitable for water-based systems. With exceptional heat resistance and anti-extraction properties, it’s highly recommended for automotive paints, industrial coatings, and other applications demanding superior weather resistance.

It effectively preserves the gloss of coatings, preventing cracking, spotting, bursting, and surface peeling. Especially ideal for industrial and automotive coatings requiring high weather resistance. It can also enhance solvent-based or water-based artificial leather and synthetic leather coatings.When combined with hindered amine light stabilizer, it significantly boosts the coating’s weather resistance.

The appearance of this product is yellow to amber viscous liquid, soluble in ethyl acetate, n-hexane, chloroform, toluene and other organic solvents. It is insoluble in water.
