Chicstab 1135 is specifically formulated for use in polyether applications and is typically not utilized as a standalone additive. Primarily, it functions to capture free radicals generated during the production and storage of polyether, thereby preventing scorching during the foaming process. It offers not only excellent antioxidative performance but also the convenience of pumpability as a liquid additive. Its low volatility and superb compatibility allow for versatile application before, during, and after polymerization.

Guideline for use

Typical use levels for Chicstab 1135 are between 0.15% and 0.5%. It offers ease of use and effective mixing, as it can be conveniently added via pump or injection methods. It is easily emulsifiable and can be dissolved, dispersed, or maintained in a pure liquid state when added during processing. Its effectiveness can be further enhanced when combined with other antioxidants such as substituted aromatic amines, synergistic stabilizers, and light stabilizers.
