Chicstab 1726 is a multifunctional antioxidant combining phenolic and thioester functionalities. It effectively protects organic substrates such as adhesives, elastomers, and related products from thermo-oxidative degradation during processing.

Application

Chicstab 1726 is a multifunctional phenolic antioxidant designed for stabilizing organic polymers, particularly in adhesive applications. It is highly effective in stabilizing hot melt adhesives based on unsaturated polymers like SBS or SIS, as well as solvent-borne adhesives using elastomers such as natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, and SBR. Additionally, it is suitable for stabilizing waterborne adhesives and block copolymers such as SBS and SIS, along with polyurethane (PUR) sealants. Chicstab 1726 provides robust protection against thermo-oxidative degradation and offers non-staining, non-discoloring, low volatility, extraction resistance, and stability under light and heat conditions. It is recommended for applications including adhesive materials, elastomers, and PUR products, serving as an effective thermo-oxidative stabilizer for hot melt adhesives, solvent-based adhesives, water-based adhesives, block copolymers, and PUR sealants.

Guideline for use

Typical application levels range from 0.1% to 1.0%.

Package

It is packaged in paper-plastic composite bags or cartons lined with plastic bags, each containing a net weight of 25 kg.

Shelf life

12 months from the date of production under unopened original packaging.

Storage

Store in a dark, dry, and cool environment, keeping the container tightly sealed. After opening, seal the container and use the product promptly.The product may liquefy during storage.
