This product is a non-polluting hindered phenolic antioxidant. It has excellent compatibility with polymers, high thermal and oxygen resistance, low volatility, and superior oxidation resistance and color retention capabilities. When combined with thioether or phosphorus-containing antioxidants, it exhibits a significant synergistic effect. It is also compatible with various types of light stabilizers and has been approved for use in food contact packaging materials.

Features/benefits
Chicstab 245 is particularly suitable for enhancing the thermal stability of HIPS, ABS, AS, MBS, SBR latex, POM monomers and copolymers. Additionally, it finds application in PU, PA, PVC, and other polymers, contributing to their long-term thermal stability.
Guideline for use
- Styrene polymers (HIPS, ABS, MBS, etc.): 0.05% – 0.5%
- Polyoxymethylene, thermoplastic polyurethane, etc.: 0.1% – 0.5%
- PVC (polymerization chain terminator): 0.02% – 0.05%
Package
The product is packaged in paper-plastic composite bags or cartons lined with plastic bags, each
weighing 25 kg.
Shelf life
24 months from the date of production under unopened original packaging.
Storage and Transportation
It should be stored in dark, dry, and low temperature conditions. Tightly sealed, after opening, it is recommended to keep it airtight and use it up as soon as possible. Pay attention to prevent leakage during transportation, follow good industrial practice. Handle with care to avoid environmental pollution.
