Product Description

Chicstab 325 is a liquid compound antioxidant with over 99% activity, offering outstanding anti-burning effects on polyurethane foam. It is particularly well-suited for polyurethane soft foam, exhibiting exceptional performance in downstream products of polyurethane with high-temperature resistance requirements. When used synergistically with auxiliary antioxidants, it enhances its efficacy. Unlike conventional liquid phenolic antioxidant Chicstab 1135, Chicstab 325 does not contain volatile BHT antioxidants. With its elevated initial oxidation temperature and enhanced resistance to thermal oxygen aging,  Chicstab 325 proves ideal for applications not necessitating BHT environmental protection.

This product offers outstanding oxidation resistance, low volatility, and excellent compatibility, effectively preventing surface fogging in automotive products and discoloration in textiles (e.g., furniture, carpets), while meeting VOC volatile content requirements. It demonstrates resilience to hydrolysis at both room and high temperatures. Additionally, it can be added before, during, or after polymerization.

 Guideline for use

The recommended levels typically range between 0.35% and 0.5%. Products can be added via pump or injection for ease of use and effective mixing. This product easily emulsifies and can be dissolved, dispersed, or maintained in a pure liquid state when added during processing. Synergistic stabilizers (such as thioethers, hydroxylamines, lactones) and hindered amine light stabilizers (such as UV absorbers, hindered amines) can be combined for enhanced effects.
