Application
Main applications of Chicstab 5026 include rigid PVC products like doors, windows, pipes, and sheets, as well as flexible items such as PVC synthetic leather, tarpaulins, and tents.
Chicstab 5026 is a multifunctional phenolic antioxidant specifically designed to stabilize organic polymers, particularly in adhesives. It is highly effective in hot melt adhesives based on unsaturated polymers like SBS or SIS, solventborne adhesives using elastomers such as natural rubber, chloroprene rubber, SBR, etc., and waterborne adhesives. Chicstab 5026 is also suitable for stabilizing block copolymers such as SBS and SIS, as well as polyurethane (PUR) sealants. It provides excellent protection against thermo-oxidative degradation, offering characteristics such as non-staining, non-discoloring, low volatility, resistance to extraction, and stability under light and heat.
Chicstab 5026 is recommended for applications including adhesive materials, elastomers, and PUR products. It serves as an effective thermo-oxidative stabilizer for adhesive materials, especially in hot melt adhesives, solvent- and water-based adhesives, and block copolymers like SBS and SIS, as well as PUR sealants.
