Chicstab R 9168

Product Description

ChicstabR 9168 serves as a versatile defoamer. It is a 40% solution comprised of acrylic polymer in white spirit. In non-aqueous organic liquids, it demonstrates superior defoaming properties compared to ChicstabR 9128.  It offers excellent foam control at lower usage rates. Typically, its usage grade is 10~20% lower than that of ChicstabR 9128. Notably, ChicstabR 9168 is silicone-free and has a low odor.

Applications of ChicstabR 9168 defoamer span across gear oils, specialized lubricants, shock absorbers, hydraulic oils, turbine oils, and transmission oils.

Guideline for use

The typical addition amount of its solution ranges from 50 to 500ppm (with the active polymer molecular weight between 20 and 200ppm). The optimal dosage depends on the properties of the oils, necessitating a thorough analysis for each oil. Typically, the defoamer is added up to 200~250ppm (with the active polymer molecular weight between 80 and 100ppm).
