Product Description

ChicstabR 9318 is a defoamer formulation featuring 40% modified polyacrylate in a hydrocarbon solvent. It has been specifically engineered to enhance the defoaming stability of both synthetic and mineral lubricating oils.

Primarily intended for use with synthetic lubricants such as PAO and PIB, as well as formulations incorporating these constituents, ChicstabR 9318 addresses the limitations often encountered with traditional polyacrylate defoamers, which frequently fail to achieve adequate defoaming or exhibit subpar performance.

Guideline for use

The typical dosage ranges from 100 to 500 ppm (40 to 200 ppm active polymer). The ideal quantity of addition varies based on the oil’s characteristics, thus conducting small batch experiments for each formulation is advised to determine the optimal amount accurately.
