Product Description

It is a transparent liquid to viscous liquid, characterized by its colorlessness and odorlessness. Its molecular weight varies according to the degree of polymerization. It is insoluble in water, methanol, vegetable oil, and paraffin, while exhibiting slight solubility in ethanol, butanol, and glycerin. Notably, it readily dissolves in benzene, toluene, xylene, ether, and chlorinated alkanes.

Featuring a minimal viscosity-temperature coefficient, high compressibility, and low surface tension, it demonstrates excellent water and moisture resistance. Additionally, it possesses a low specific heat capacity and thermal conductivity. Remarkably, it exhibits outstanding electrical insulation performance, heat resistance, high flash point, and low freezing point, allowing for prolonged usage within the temperature range of -50°C to +200°C.

Applications

1. Electrical Insulation:Widely utilized in motors, electrical appliances, and electronic instruments for its resistance to temperature, arc, corona, corrosion, moisture, and dust. Also employed as transformer and capacitor oil to enhance transformer efficiency, increase power, and ensure safety while minimizing pollution.
2. Anti-Vibration and Damping:Used as an anti-vibration and damping oil in various applications such as instruments, automobile engines, and circuit breakers. Its liquid spring properties offer compactness, lightweight, and the ability to withstand substantial impact forces across a wide temperature range, making it ideal for aerospace applications.
3. Release Agent:Acts as an effective release agent in plastic molding, rubber processing, metal casting, and other industries, providing excellent mold release properties, high product surface precision, and multiple reuses with minimal application. Typically used as a solution or emulsion at concentrations of 0.5-2.5%.
4. Defoamer:Serves as a versatile defoamer with strong defoaming power, high temperature resistance, and chemical stability, widely applied in petroleum, chemical, printing, dyeing, and food industries. Small concentrations (10-100PPM) effectively control foam formation.
5. Lubricant:Suitable for lubricating rubber, plastic bearings, gears, machinery, and precision instruments under extreme temperature conditions. With additives, it functions as a wear-resistant and extreme pressure-resistant lubricant.
6. Surface Treatment Agent: Applied as a 10% solution or emulsion on glass, ceramics, and metal surfaces, forming a semi-permanent waterproof, mildew-proof, and insulating thin film after heat treatment. Also used for waterproofing paper, leather, building materials, and fabrics.
7. Additive:Enhances water resistance, brightness, oxidation resistance, and processing performance of materials like paint, rubber, paraffin, and resin. Improves paint quality, preventing color floating and wrinkling.
8. Medical and Healthcare:Used in treating pulmonary edema and swelling, as well as a defoamer for artificial heart-lung machines. Ointments and protective agents improve drug penetration for burns, dermatitis, and bedsores. Surface-treated utensils have anticoagulant effects, prolonging blood sample storage time. Lozenges exhibit moisture resistance, extending drug effectiveness.
9. Miscellaneous Applications:Employed as a high-temperature bath, heat carrier, anti-printing agent for dry copiers, glazing agents, and static electricity eliminator in wire drawing. Added to cosmetics for enhanced skincare and moisturizing effects.
